The ten wheel or three-axle dump truck is as integral to construction jobsites. This truck is made to haul a large variety of aggregates and other construction materials. It has the capacity to haul 6-8 cubic yards or approximately 12 tons. This truck has excellent maneuverability.

A transfer truck is a combination of standard dump truck and a trailer with an additional dump bed. The trailer dump bed can be transferred by either electric or other type of motor and is moved from the trailer to the truck bed so it can be dumped. An articulated dumper is an all-wheel drive, off-road dump truck. It has a hinge between the cab and the dump box, the power unit is a permanent fixture, not a separable vehicle.
